Derrick was my best friend. We used to do everthing together and I have been trying to trace his brother, Trevor, for some time now without success.

He was someone vey special to me and at the time of the accident, I was working at the Towneley Arms Hotel in Rowland Gill. I remember hearing the bells of the Ambulance and thinking to myself " Who is the poor soul wanting an Ambulance" I didn't find out until the following day, it was going to the aid of my dearest friend Derrick, all be it in vain. Why do such dreadful things happen, why oh why oh why. I remember the card I wrote for the flowers I took to his Funersl, it read " To my dearest friend Derrick, in Gods garden rest". I still think about him almost evey day. I have tried to make contact with his brother Trevor but to date, I have not been able to make any contact. If Trevor gets sight of this message, please contact me Trevor, I need to speak with someone from Derrick's immediate family.
